HOOray for visitors!
my baby sister just left after a whirlwind tour through the best O-town tourism has to offer. mere hours after her departure, sister #2 arrived in sunny florida for a week long visit.
having visitors is fun, but man, do i need a nap!
also, i have a new baby... hrm... 2nd cousin? yeah, i think that's right. his name is jacob and i just got pictures of him and his sister olivia who are the two cutest things in the whole wide world. too bad they live in california (last i knew) and i may never get to meet them...
or will i?

wow, was that American Idol close or what? about half a percentage point seperating the finalists. i think i heard it was something like 1335 votes.
even President Gore won by a bigger margain than that...

seems like at least once a year i find myself deciding where to go next, what to do with myself.
the truth is, i just want to go where i belong. i always base my decisions on where *i* want to be or what i think is best, but it would be nice to have people say, "i wish you would stay" or "move closer to me!" or things like that. whether or not i listen to those comments isn't really the point.
the point is, i want whatever decision i DO make to make a difference to the rest of the world... not just myself.
