as is always the case this time of year, i can't believe i only have 2 more weeks or so here in "sunny" florida.
i've met more wacky people, and have spent some quality time with old friends. i've enjoyed my new job and have done my best to network a little and find a place for myself in the company. despite my general disgust of florida, i do see myself down here full time come next may... for a little while at least. i've done and seen new things and even managed to find the time and money to go home for a weekend.
still as the end of the summer draws nearer and nearer i can't help but think of all of the things that once again have not gotten checked off the list. i guess there's always next summer...

*sigh*
if one didn't know better and landed on this site they certainly would think i was a terribly dull waste of space, wouldn't they? you know it's about time to go home when the pixie dust starts wearing off and i start fretting over the state of my web site...
anyway, i've decided that my first priority is to rebuild the site... even if it's wholey unorigional, or even if it looks exactly the same... and even if it means picking up a copy of (insert nerdy code type here) for dummies. blogskins is great, but i feel like such a wuss using someone else's design when i like to think myself nerdy enough to lay down some code on my own.
enough about that, though. too much forethought will give me a migrane. i can't even BEGIN to think about fall yet. the to do list is way too long...
but, once again, i assure you i'm alive... not only alive but actually pretty super, all things considered.
