well, by tomorrow i should have a job at the toy store and the following week i'll be a game driver again... ah, life on the savannah...
meanwhile i have been making good use of my cast member ID. i've barely played in the animal kingdom at all but we've hit the other three parks pretty hard.
also i may have a bed soon too... so that's always good, right? my roommate has been house-sitting so i have been crashing in his bed cuz my air-mattress... not so comfy.
oh, also... the entire state is on fire i think. it smells like one big camp fire.

i made it to florida with no trouble at all and am already almost all moved in. i've already got funny roommate pictures to put up once i get adjusted to this new computer set up. i miss all my old programs... hahha
anyway, i just wanted to let you know i am alive and i've already been playing in the parks and i've already seen mickey and life is grand. so there.

i just got back from my 'bon voyage cook out'. it was good to see a bunch of friends and family again before i leave for sunny florida. i can't wait to get down there and see the people i left behind last time i was there... but i'll miss everyone up here a lot.
i think pretty much everything i need for the trip is packed and ready to go. now all i have to do is pack up all the stuff i'm leaving behind. hopefully that won't take too long because i want to get an early start in the morning.
anyway... this may be my last post until i get settled in my new apt. so i hope it will tide you all over until that time. wish me luck!!

i should probably be blogging it up since i don't know how regularly i'll get to it while i'm in florida. you know me though... i promise not to leave you totally out of the loop. i'm sure i'll have plenty of stories to share when i do finally get a chance to sit down at the computer for a minute or two.
the last few days i have been packing (read: standing in my room looking at empty boxes and piles of clothes) like a madwoman. i have way too much stuff. the local goodwill will love me though. and packing just brings out my neurosis. i just leave it all to the last minute then i end up an anxiety-ridden puddle of helplessness on the floor while my friends and family pack around me. it isn't pretty.
thus far, my plan is to leave sat. morning. i am less than half packed, but what i have done so far i basically did in one day. i can do this. probably.

i got mail! sara sent me the funniest pictures from the chatham allstar reunion tour. they are so classic. i'll try to scan them and get them online sometime... even though probably no one will enjoy them as much as i do... but whatever. the important thing is, i got mail. you should all learn from sara's example.

ah... how nice. i've finally been knocked off joe's list of links. i kind of wondered how i lasted as long as i did. oh well, i needed to do some spring cleaning in my own links... hrmpf.
in packing for florida it has come to my attention that i own a huge shoe box full of eyeshadow. why, you ask? i have no idea. i'm not really a makeup girl and even when i do wear it, it's usually the same couple products over and over til i get bored.
i have about every imaginable color. orange, metallic blue, you name it. you just never know when it'll come in handy... yeah right.
let me reiterate: an entire shoe box of eyeshadow.

yeah!!! i have a home!!! i'm not homeless anymore!!!i found somewhere to live this summer and i don't even have to wait for anyone to move out! i'm looking to be down there within two to three weeks. yeah for me!!! i am so unbelieveably happy about this.

saw 'town and country' tonight.i don't even know what to say about it. it was random. parts of it were definitely hilarious enough to make up for the slowness of the rest.

i am convinced that i was actually the first person in america to own 'the emperor's new groove'. it was in my vcr mere minutes after it was officially released at midnight. movies should not be so funny... my abs hurt. i swear.also, when i got bored of 'baby sittin' the meijer movie department waiting for them to put out their lovely 't.e.n.g.' display, i wandered over to the toy deptartment. apparently disney wanted to avoid the disasterous merchandising (or lack there of) mistake they made with 't.e.n.g.' because a variety of 'atlantis' toys are already available.
